BILIKI

During my later years in Primary school towards my years into high school I can remember I scarcely had a school bag and if I eventually had...there was always a story that will accomplice my bags. I will start from telling you about my school bag and the event that surrounded it and lesson learnt from it while I was in primary four. I was nine years old while I was in primary four and it was stage of my life that encountered a sudden change as I and my elder brother who was a year older than I was were taking to the boarding school. Oh I remember my first night in the dormitory, I cried my eyes out..it was the first time of my life I ever slept without my mum. I doubted if I was going to see the light of another day 😊 of which I did. All glory to God. The separation anxiety realisation from my mum (story for another day.). I braced up and faced the reality of my new school in the interior of Ikenne remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. My new primary school was a wierd one as all my Juniors wer...

Vashti(The replaced)

What was Vashti's offence that made her loose her throne? What did she do/say that was beyond the ordinary? For those of us that are married can you recall how many times we've disobeyed or even disregarded our husbands dictates.  Shouldn't I feel familiar with my baby😘so what if he is the MD , CEO of an oil gas company...I should be able to express myself and rebuke when I feel he is being naughty. Not adding or Subtracting from the word of God but making use of the creative mind giving to me by God...let's quickly visit King Ahaseurus palace as we check out the drama...😋 Vashti: My Lord! You are the king for God's sake, everyone knows that , it's so obvious. Why do you still then enjoy showing off the splendour of your majesty....Am not comfortable with all this galavanting and showing off of your wealth and kingdom. Your drinking to stupor...I reserve my comment( she pauses....) Am not reserving anything (she bursted out). Stop disgracing yourself ...you a k...

....Biliki's conclusive part

..BILIKI handed over my bag and my remaining provisions and that was how I became free. (what a sigh of relief ). I didn't believe it but I took the step for my liberation from the hands of an intentional wicked bully. Many days passed and if we peradventure bumped into each other, she could hardly look into my face. It made me realized that there was nothing so powerful and frightening about Biliki, she was just like any other student...my liberation from the hands of Biliki gave Yinka courage to dissolve the parasitic friendship too....and Alas!!! I became myself once again...free... As much as I don't mean to compare God creation to the devil but just to paint a picture and drive home my point ,Biliki fits into the place of the devil. Many atimes the accuser of brethren takes what rightfully belongs to us even with our consent...feeding us with lies that we don't deserve what our Father gave to us.... presenting himself as a fearful lion 🦁 that cannot be dared.... Now a...

The adulterous woman

THE ADULTEROUS WOMAN (HE KNOWS MYNAME) JOHN 8: 1-11 INTRODUCTION. Not adding nor substracting from the word of God but making use of the creative mind given to me by God i write this piece and I know it will bless a soul. SCENE 1 Noises of angry  mobs, shouting and full or rage ...screaming at the top of their voices Prostitute the voices yelled. Stone her, stone her to death. T.A.W: (fear written over all her face) she thought in her heart ...the end is here. I never saw it coming this soon. I'm done for. Is there a way out ?  She cried out for mercy but who cared. The crowd were filled with legalist, scribes and Pharisees. Shouting on the top of their voices. Stone her, stone her , useless woman ...how dare you committ adultery? Hopeless fool. They hurled different insults on her...she shivered as she was composing her last prayers in her mind. A voice amidst the mob sounded so familiar to her ...she wondered if she was whom she thought. T.A.W: (She took a quick glance at the...

MRS ANANIAS

MRS SAPHIRA ANANIAS. (ACTS 5:1-10)(could it be submission?) The story of the characters in this particular story got me pondering on the issue of "submission" which Christ has called wives to regarding their relationship with their husbands. Could it be that Saphira was simply submitting to her husband's dictates after he had kept the remaining portion of the money gotten from the land sold. Was she being submissive? Also it's also possible she was even the initiator of the whole idea in the first place. Whatever the case may have been however one thing is obvious here she was an accomplice because which ever way she played along. If you were in Saphira's shoes from the view point of her husband being the initiator of the ploy what would you have done.  I did a brief survey /questioning amidst women(married) and got some list of response which I will be listing. *My husband remains my husband whether good or bad. * I will submit to his will and keep praying for Hi...

BOLUTIFE

BOLUWATIFE (The predicament of unplanned pregnancy in marriage) Romans 8:28. John and Sandra have been married for four years and within the space of these years, their family have been blessed with two children a boy and girl.  It was a usual Saturday in the Adetola's residence where they came together with their little baby of about 6 months and their toddler of who was three years old...the couple were worshipping God in songs in the early hours of the morning only for Sandra to feel this nauseating feeling right from her stomach to her throat which made her excused herself to the *Ladies* where she eventually vomitted and began to feel very sick. Her husband quickly came to check on her seeing she was taking a while to return having handed over the baby (Anuoluwapo) to him. Are you ok he asked? Her response said it all....He suggested she went to the Hospital later in the day. They concluded their morning devotion however, where the HolySpirit impressed on John's heart a pa...
