Vashti(The replaced)

What was Vashti's offence that made her loose her throne? What did she do/say that was beyond the ordinary? For those of us that are married can you recall how many times we've disobeyed or even disregarded our husbands dictates.  Shouldn't I feel familiar with my baby😘so what if he is the MD , CEO of an oil gas company...I should be able to express myself and rebuke when I feel he is being naughty.
Not adding or Subtracting from the word of God but making use of the creative mind giving to me by God...let's quickly visit King Ahaseurus palace as we check out the drama...😋

Vashti: My Lord! You are the king for God's sake, everyone knows that , it's so obvious. Why do you still then enjoy showing off the splendour of your majesty....Am not comfortable with all this galavanting and showing off of your wealth and kingdom. Your drinking to stupor...I reserve my comment( she pauses....) Am not reserving anything (she bursted out). Stop disgracing yourself ...you a king getting drunk in the midst of your surbodinate...My Lord ... please show some decorum...(she concluded with a tiring sigh).
Vashti then called out to him ...my Lord Ahaseurus (he was snoring heavily). She then hit him on his back gently. So you were asleep all this while 🤦🤦.

Ahaseurus: Good morning darling (in a husky and tired voice) (Vashti was all dressed up as she was having a meeting with town women on that very day). Mama, you wake up too early....I still need you by my side....it's holiday today...come here baby ( he said in a playful way dragging her hand)...

Vashti: ( with all the annoyance in her , pushed his hand away) My Lord! am not in the mood at all, I was pouring out my mind and you were busy snoring. I say stop all these shameful act ...drunkness ...it's a shame my Lord!

Ahaseurus: ( stretching his whole body and yawning). Vashti have told you times and over again to accordance me some respect: am not just your husband am your king ...does it not send any shivering down your spine...watch it woman...

Vashti: (muttering) erm errm, My Lord am sorry: I never meant to disrespect you .I just want you to understand me. I need you to behave in accordance to your position. Royalty has nothing to do with how you portray yourself all in the name of having " fun" , "celebration" what's the occasion anyway ( she snaps) . She called her Entourage and left the palace for her meeting.

Her meeting
Vashti had a long meeting with the women in her community. Strategizing on women empowerment, poverty alleviation. She later went into the neighbouring towns, visiting the orphanage, widows, meeting allot of physical needs and all...allot of prayers were rained on her by the women and men of the town. She unwrinkled the faces of people by lightning it up with smiles of relief.

Vashti: (Exhausted ....she got into her carriage ) she told her chaffeur. Take me home.

The Palace
The palace was filled with different sounds, music though solemn, hysterical laughter of men as their voices was of a very high pitch. They were talking but it seems they were arguing.

Shadhn( king's friend): Oh! This is a beautiful gathering...the last time I had so much fun was at the wedding Shuan when he got married Jael , the princess of Meggih kingdom. The wedding was WOW. I can also remember vividly how beautiful the bride was , you can just refer to her as an impeccable angel, everything about emits beauty. I searched for a flaw at least in her beauty but I found none . The height of it was when she smiled (argh) I envy King Shadhn . Ahaseurus cuts in abruptly

Ahaseurus: (smiling)  you amaze me my dear friend: I don't think any woman's beauty can surpass or even measure up to that of my queen. Oh Vashti, beauty personified. Her skin glows like the early morning Ray
Her beautiful dark , curly loistrous hair, Her set of teeth are uniquely arranged that makes her smile charming, Her eyes beams with undescribable beauty . Her voice...so soothing and angelic . Vashti every woman's aspiration of beauty. Her curves like that of an hour Glass ...(beats his chest with excitement) Call her for me guards ...let her come over here to display her beauty for the world to see.

Vashti: As she got down from the horse and carriage...she headed straight to her room. Her Spices and ingredients were ready for her bath. She was undressed by her maidens as she went into the tub and had a warm bath with the needed massage . She was about slipping Into her bed. Then she heard the message of the king being relayed to her maiden. She gave a long hiss .

Vashti: ( mutters to herself)  This man is very funny, tell him I had a long day. Ahaseurus he is so crazy about me(she smiled) No baby... not today...am tired. She said to herself as she rolled her eyes , smiling and awaits her nap.

Guard: (kneels before the king) muttering all courage to relay the Queen's message. Sire, she said she won't be available due to the fact that....( the king flared up in the middle of of the words)

Ahaseurus: ( eyes opened wide in anger) How dare you Vashti . Wise men, you elders , you that knows about times and seasons. What do I do this disrespectful woman....?

Memucan: My king, this is not about you only , it's about all of us here and all men in the country of Susa ...once it becomes a public knowledge to other women...it might become a norm if left unpunished.

Ahaseurus: ( stood up in anger turned and faced his throne, putting down his Sceptre. Vashti is hereby banished... never to see her face again.

Vashti
The next day ( outside the palace, sobbing profusely)
Why did I loose my place?
Is this fair?
Please let the king hear me out.
How was I wrong?

Really what was her error?
Would Love to read your view.
Thanks for reading

Seriously, the King could have pardoned her but she gave d King a public dragging in the mud. If u check most wise women out, they give their husbands respect in public. N that is d secret to some men's heart.

It is one major thing that Vashti lost her place..
it is even more critical that she now gets to live in the harem section of the palace..
Vashti may have to live the rest of her life as a widow under the watch of eunuchs..
No chance of another shot at marital bliss...
we were not even told whether she had any child for the king..
peradventure she did, the position lost is now generational...
were there no sons of David before Solomon; yet he was preferred among them.

What exactly was Vashti's crime..
In so many ways the Most High have related with man..
He calls us friend, His Bride, His Child...
All this tags are no scam, He really wishes to relate genuinely with us on all these levels..
Yet as sweet as those relationship tags, He is our Lord and Master!
Finding balance with all these relationships is one of the major ways of being a successful Christian. But that balance can not be found outside the help of the Holy Spirit.
Fanning the flames of the Holy Spirit in us result in the fruit of the Spirit (lifelong character).
This curbs every attempt of growing wings beyond the confines of our God given freedom.
Vashti got lost in the affairs of the kingdom, she misplaced priority and forgot her source.
Men have carved out ways to live waywardly in the Kingdom..but the question is are you sure you are still a bride or you are just one of the concubines in the harem?
Men may still see you in the palace; but there is a critical need to reassess your identity and position in the palace (God's Kingdom)
Your CV may have it that you were once a bride..but the ticket into the coming Kingdom is being a current Bride.
There is so much to learn from this Eternal prints..
I'm so sorry for the unavoidable long comment..
thank you so much ma for taking us back into our Guide for life of the present and the life to come...
May the Lord help us not to lose our position in His kingdom..
May we not be the scape goat for others to learn from..(Examples are more than enough in the Scriptures)...In Jesus Mighty name..(Amen)

Over-familiarity... promptly obeying the King's order even when we do not understand or when it does seem unnecessary keeps us being His favorite - not only for His "Ego" but primarily for our good.

Well expressed renarrated story and the comment above, long but powerful message in it.
May God help us not to loose our place of salvation in the course of performing kingdom related activities.

I appreciate God for your creative prowess.

I would say I feel for Queen Vashi. She lost everything. She made a one-time mistake that cost her all she spent years building.
What was the cause- pride? I am a queen in my own right or just the little "honestly been tired" ? Perhaps over familiarity?
He was the husband yet the King.it was important to discern who needed her at the moment, the husband or the King?If only she knew who..maybe...
It is also worthy of note that total obedience is key...past obedience cannot stand the gap for present.
When God calls,it is important to answer now! That I answered yesterday can't fill in for today.
Being deligent and consistence in the things of God is crucial.
However, when it comes to the things of God,no man understand why things happen as they do.
May God help us all.
