THAT ZERO

 The number zero on its own numerically is a number that signifies nothing. Zero by itself has no value....but this same zero is very much needed from other numbers in order to increase in value....


That's alright on my definition on Zero😊, cause that's not where am going. 

 Shantel, on a beautiful Tuesday morning had to put a call through from her phone to a client but on punching on the digits, she realized she had ran out of call card, since it was an important call...she quickly decided to buy directly from her bank account right from her phone. She had in mind to buy 2,000, but in her haste she added just one more "zero" to her intended digits and alas she bought 20,000 naira call card. Shantel was very upset at the incident, she was edgy through out the day, a whooping 20,000 thousand naira for recharge card in this hard economy... everyone that came her way that day had his/her on share of transferred aggression from Shantel. I feel so much for the Lady in this story. But her experience got me pondering...The mistake was just one *zero* and it changed the course of the transaction... ordinary zero, that insignificant zero...

Hmmm...then a scripture came alive to me...                           S.O.S 2:15....Catch the foxes for us, The little foxes that spoil and ruin the vineyards [of love], While our vineyards are in blossom.”

That sin we see as insignificant can change the course of one's life at the end just like how that one *zero* changed the course of Shantel's transaction. 

Now to you dear reader!!! What could that zero be in your life that might bring you much regret and pain at the end of your journey in life? Could it be that occasional anger , that you have even personalized and given it a pet name*my momentarily temper* , could it be the seasonal malice, once in awhile sexual immorality, environmental lies, addiction of any sort and what have you?

*Zero* may seem insignificant but when added to a number it changes the outcome, that sin may seem little but remember * It takes just a little sin to wroth in hell...

STOP!!! DON'T PRESS THAT ZERO ANYMORE.  

Hebrew 12:1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.....
